Poetry, Logan and family

Logan is such a cutie.  Once he figured out that he was my
little model and he could help me make the decisions he was
on a roll.  I had a lot of fun with him.

He's so proud that he's five now.

Irresistible cuteness!

Siblings!  He loves his big sister!

Morgan was fun to shoot as well.  I think at first
she was unsure as to how to be but I asked her to just
be herself and act natural.  She had fun especially with her
little brother.

I love this picture!  He was being awnry with his
mama but this turned out pretty well.

I love this smile of Poetry.  So natural and refreshing.
Logan was so funny as he was still trying to pose.

One of my favorites of Morgan.  She's a natural!

Logan found the farm cat.  He was so in love.  I just
had to include one with the cat especially after
his request.  Not sure if mommy was thrilled but it
made pictures go smooth.  Turned out cute!

Such a model!  Look at that face.  He's just so cute
you want to squeeze him.
I had fun taking pictures of everyone.  Maybe next time they'll let me take a family picture with everyone together.  Morgan gave me some ideas with teenagers which was really nice.  I'm used to photographing small children so this was a great experience.  I think they'll all turned out beautiful.  Thank you again for allowing me to be part of your family Poetry!

Jon, Marena and Naomi

One of my favorites of Naomi.

It was interesting putting her in this position but once I told
her she looked like a model she loved every minute.

Her natural giggle look.  Love it!

Naomi being silly!  Couldn't resist.

So sweet!

My favorite.  Naomi's little stance just makes it.

Naomi is hilarious!

Even though Marena isn't looking this picture is great!
I had an awesome time taking this family's pictures.  Might be because Marena is a close friend.  Naomi makes it fun though.  I love letting the little ones somewhat control or let them think they are controlling what positions or where we are going to take pictures.  Makes mommy and daddy's nerves much more relaxed.  And everyone had fun.

Work in Progress

I finally decided to go public with offering professional photography for not just my family and friends but everyone.  I love being around the families, children and animals.  I will make your time with me comfortable and natural with no waiting in lines.

I offer a 1 hour photo shoot at a location of choice for $75.  This also includes the cd with edited images for you to use as you please.  I'm working on loading the families I've already photographed.  Check them out and let me know what you think.  Whether you are a seasoned photographer or just someone checking out my blog all feedback is welcome within reason.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Dulce's maternity shoot

Such a beautiful soon to be mommy.  Dulce was so fun to shoot and was open to showing her belly.  I reserved those shots for her eyes only.  They turned out awesome.  We're only pregnant for a limited time right and you won't get that experience back as quickly as other moments in life.  I wasn't that bold but wished I would have been.   Her husband was so sweet and so in love with his wife. I took a couple shots you can just see the love protruding from Dulce's eyes when she looks at her husband.  Love!  What an awesome thing in life to have and be blessed with!

Chris, Kwana and Baby Carsen

I love this picture of the family's hands!  Precious!

Daddy's hands!

Another one I love.  Eskimo kiss!

Carsen is so stinking cute!

Chris, Kwana and Carsen were such a joy.  Carsen so precious at only 3 weeks old.  The love you could see in Chris' eyes for his son.  So touching!  Mommy was in awe herself but still recovering.  Totally understandable!  This little man let me do what I wanted with him even though mommy and daddy didn't think he'd cooperate.  He did awesome!  Thank you for allowing me to capture such a precious moment Kwana and Chris!  Can't wait to see him more!

My nieces and nephews, well some of them!

Morgan having fun in a tree.  He was just playing around and I
turned around and just had to capture the moment.
 Beautiful smile!

My kids acting silly.  I always have to ask them to
do a silly pose since they do so well for the most part.

My nephew Brandon.  Trying to be so smooth.

5 of the 8.  Things just didn't work out
for everyone to be a part this year.  I was so bummed.

Siblings!  Pretty smiles!

The newest addition.

Brothers and sister.

I loved this picture of my kids even though my daughter isn't
looking.  She's so sweet but can be such a stinker.

Well every year I plan for all my mom's grandkids to have a photo shoot.  This year three didn't get to attend.  But I got over it, not really.  I'll get them all on Christmas for sure no matter what the persuasion that has to be done.  Taking pictures of little ones can be quite interesting.  One must learn to be quick and simple.  One is always looking up, the other looking the opposite direction and someone has to be crying.   I had fun and it was too beautiful of a day to pass up.
